KCC Parent CouncilKirkwood Children's Chorale Parent Council Our KCC parents are vitial to the success of our program! We believe that the Singers receive as much as their families are willing to invest in KCC.
How can you join? You already have!!! All parents of KCC Singers are members of the KCC Parent Council!
Ways you can help? Being a Choir Parent is one of the ways to get to know the Singers & the KCC Staff.
Basically, this is a "Room Parent" position.
Whatever the choir needs, you two to three parents organize the volunteers to do what is needed.
An example would be when we have our Pizza party.
We need parents to receive the treats, set up the treats, serve the treats & clean up after the party......
sounds like alot, but if 8 different people take care of just ONE part of the party....it's not so monumental!!!!
We need choir parents to be with us before & during concerts in case someone gets sick & needs to be moved to a cooler spot than the stage.
Our Singers, whose parents volunteer to do what they are able, are usually our most involved in our program for the longest time.
