Join KCC

KCC has a non audition choir open to children entering the 2nd grade.

 

Membership is all other choirs is by audition only, for children entering 3rd through 8th grade.

 

Placements are made based on pitch acuity, tonal memory, rhythmic dexterity, age, experience and recommendations.

 

Auditions

  • When: By Appointment - Call (314) 803-2007
  • Where: First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood. 100 East Adams, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122
  • Who: Current 2nd - 8th graders
  • How: Call (314) 803-2007 to schedule an audition appointment. An adult must accompany the singer.
  • What: Children will be asked to sing "Happy Birthday" and "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and match notes and rhythm patterns.
  • Cost: There is no charge to audition. A $50 non-refundable new member fee is due upon acceptance into the Chorale.
  • Remember that any KCC Family who refers a singer to KCC (& that singer is accepted after an audition) will receive a discount on their tuition!  SO, bring a friend to sing with you!!!

 

Rehearsals

Kirkwood Children's Chorale Choirs rehearse on Tuesdays from September through March at

First Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, 100 East Adams, in Kirkwood.

Carolers~4:30 -5:45 p.m.

Choristers~4:30 -5:45 p.m.

Cantando~4:30 -5:45 p.m.

Cambiata~4:30 -6:00 p.m.

Concert~~4:30 -6:15 p.m.

 

Tuition

Tuition is payable to Kirkwood Children’s Chorale. Full tuition is due from the undersigned by June 15th OR a $100 non-refundable tuition deposit is due on June 15th and the undersigned must sign a contract for Direct Debit withdrawal from a checking or savings account for four equal payments for remaining balance to begin in July and end in October.

There is a $5 monthly service fee assessed for the Direct Debit option. If no payment is received you are not guaranteed admission into the choir.
